@SpookDog thank you for the advice lad. The dude is selling the shock because he managed to ride it so hard that it broke in half lol.

If you check the pipe by where your horn is they’ll be a part number, post it on here for some comparisons. It could be a unique part to Swiss models.

You’re right. The recessed ones might be stretch bolts, hence the price. If they are you’re supposed to replace them each time…

@Vcelicka The handling on my DTR is fricken superb! I've had these tyres for ~10 years and they've been spot on. Uhhmm, I'd have to check but I'm not going into the garage now. I think it's 110 on the front. But again, I'm running different wheel/fork setup so the spacing is all different. Handles a dream though.

The engine stops when the connection is made, ignition is earthed. I don’t understand what your problem is?
If you disconnect the kill switch the bike will still run…
If you disconnect the ignition key block connector the bike will run but have no lights…
Just fit the button and try it…

Well I run RS 125 rear calipers on my stock DTRE master cylinder and the brakes are ace.

On the front I swapped out the mastercylinder with something more appropriate, for said reasons....

Mine was like it when I first sussed out it was removable. It was caked in what looked like cement dust!
I’m glad you got it running sweet again 😜

You guys have given me a lot to work with...

No, I definitely won't be riding it anywhere when it's running like this.

I'll print off this whole thread and show it to my friend who knows a lot more about bikes than me...

    Thanks

@irongamer727 You probably won't gain higher revs, as unfortunately, the ability to rev higher is lost with the bigger bore.

But yes, you will be able to dial in the ignition much more towards the bigger cylinder.

I'd have thought there would be some nice gains with this and the bigger bore.

@perithtv I've been there too few months ago. Soaking , heating etc etc nothing
Take off everything possible what can restrict you in the back and chop the bolt on as much places as angle grinder let you. I had 4 cuts and lifted the pieces off. Bought brand new guts for it and there is more grease then metal on it 😂 damaged my axe on it too 😁

When I bought my bike carb was leaking from overflow pipe all the time, when tank valve was open. I opened the carb and the reason was that, the float valve was upside down! I turn it to right way and overflow stop immediately!!! Check that!

Cant see why you wouldt want to get better filtration...

Airfilter oil is pretty cheap, and the filter is made to flow this way.
Youd' be surprised how much crap it catches when you clean it.

@Mightyman Nah the DTRE's were given full YPVS servos.

Although you make a good point, the YPVS does shut off at 10'000 rpm as a restriction.

But the point here is the build up of NoX's gases. So whilst they did shut off, the normal person would be part throttle anyway. And if you were pinning it, well you would expect it to give up eventually and this might be why.
