yes, but im in south Spain and struggling to find someone that will weld it. Everyone always says its dangerous and dont want the resposibility ffs haha. So a replacement would be more ideal

If you check the pipe by where your horn is they’ll be a part number, post it on here for some comparisons. It could be a unique part to Swiss models.

    @Stevie-Wonder

You’re right. The recessed ones might be stretch bolts, hence the price. If they are you’re supposed to replace them each time…

@Vcelicka The handling on my DTR is fricken superb! I've had these tyres for ~10 years and they've been spot on. Uhhmm, I'd have to check but I'm not going into the garage now. I think it's 110 on the front. But again, I'm running different wheel/fork setup so the spacing is all different. Handles a dream though.

Taking the powervalve apart is pretty easy, you’d be surprised how gummed up it can get too. Always worth checking that out

Well I run RS 125 rear calipers on my stock DTRE master cylinder and the brakes are ace.

On the front I swapped out the mastercylinder with something more appropriate, for said reasons....

Kinda pisses you off when your recently ‘rebored’ piston used to rattle back and forwards in the barrel, doesn’t it?! I had the same experience buying a REBORED barrel & piston.
I’m very particular about who does my rebores now…

    Pressure Cap!

I wouldn't believe it but I have seen it a few times.

Always start off with something cheap and look at the more expensive items later.

Measure across the pick up sensor. Make sure that you are getting current to trigger the CDI. You will want to follow that pulse from the pickup to the CDI. From the CDI you will see it go to the primary coil. From there it should go to the secondary mutal winding and out to the HT lead. It's as simple as that. Somewhere you are losing that signal.

Well you should have checked the bearings at the same time.

My aftermarket clocks reset to zero. Now my mot history is all over the place. I don't intend on selling the bike so makes no odds to me. Would be nice to see how many miles I have done in ten years though.

@panmil92 I don't recall there being any certain type of weak point. Fairly bullet proof motors.

It's just general items. Bearings, bushes and seals.

Story is it overheated on a ride out due to an airlock in the cooling system. So the piston went pop

there was one post though sayin that wr dont fit and poster wanted to show a pic of the difference but sadly it didnt work for him

Might fit the DTR as well?

Either the balancer shaft, the engine needs timing.

Or the clutch hasn't been balanced. The clutch needs to be reassembled in the correct sequence. See my kickstart conversion guide.
