<![CDATA[Cutting a dep silencer down]]>Had anyone ever shortened a dep silencer down a few inches to increase the sound?

Just thinking don't just cut straight through the whole thing as the baffle tube inside needs to be an inch or two longer to fit into the end cap of I remember correct

the end Can ( hardest part is putting the end cap back on )
Use the off cut over the top of your now short pipe as a template to drill the new holes

I detest noisy machines.

It adds not performance so why bother.
