Just thinking don't just cut straight through the whole thing as the baffle tube inside needs to be an inch or two longer to fit into the end cap of I remember correct</p>

the end  Can ( hardest part is putting the end cap back on )<br />
Use the off cut over the top of your now short pipe as a template to drill the new holes</p>
