I would like some help on my fuel consumption. The bike drinks about 9 liters of 98 octane per 100km. What should i do to fix my it? Im sending my cylinder to get rehoned and ive already ordered a new piston. But id like to know why it chugs fuel. Everything on it is stock right now and ive cleaned the whole engine, carburetor and emptied the exhaust.

Should get more like 90 miles to a tank if you're riding really conservatively, 60 is probably about right if you're caining it everywhere, but if you're pottering around with the odd blast here and there I'd expect 80 miles.

If it's low on compression there you're losing a lot of energy there. If you haven't set the powervalve up properly, and/or it's pinned then that's wasted fuel.

If the brakes are binding or the chain is past its life then all those items will affect the MPGs to some greater or lesser extent.
