<![CDATA[spokes size for stock wheels on dtr?]]>Does anyone know the spoke sizes for a stock wheel on a dtr 1998. I had to cut five of them as they where completely seized in the nipples. anyone know where i can buy them on the cheap? (less than £20) any help is great 🙂 I don't really want to buy a whole new set as it's about £50 but if it's the only way i guess i will.

as long as the spokes not close to one another then there will be enough stress to hold it together it could probably take more impact than you think it's just more of a pain to true

Even if it's missing spokes, it will be "safe-ish" to test up the road.

WHen my bike got nicked it was missing about 8 or so spokes. Rode it home no problems. Just slowly.

Sounds a little dangerous. If it were me I'd invest in some nice Aluminium spokes. Have them laced to dt200r rims, which are ally. I believe.
