According to cmsnl.com 3RM8259040 is the correct one for my bike, the one you sent is 3RM-82590-00-00

@calum is it supposed to be a relay or something for the side stand switch next to the neutral switch? I have some wires hanging loose there with no plug

I'll start testing for continuity on every wire and see if I find something

@calum the loom is good enough for it to start, all the ignition system is still intact. None of the lights work tho.

It doesn't want to start properly. I had it running for a couple minutes then it died. I think the spark is too weak

i brought a 2001 yamaha dt125r a couple weeks ago. its been sitting since 2006, but the owner had the eninge overhauled by a shop 6 years ago. he said he had it started last year

The wiring loom is trash, and it only has spark when ignition is off.
i put some new gas in it and got it started by kicking while turning the ignition on.

i got it started that one time and cant get it started after that. ive ordered new reed and coil. ive also mounted new ignition switch and cleaned the carb.

i found a thread about a guy that had the same problem with the spark, but didnt find any answers. any tips?

Does anyone know where I can get a new wiring loom for a 2001 dt 125 R?
Mine has been cut to pieces by the last owner, no lights work and it only has spark when ignition is off?
