DT125R FORUM

Hi all new to the forum just in need of some of advise, basically around 3years ago I owned a 2002 dtr did it up made it a one of kind bike anyway passed my driving license bought a car canceled my bike insurance about 2-3weeks after cancelling my insurance my bike was stolen from my garage during the night rang the police etc came out investigated it brushed it under the carpet nothing else was said was never found but was reported stolen thru ‘pnc’ system anyway bring it more up to date it came up for sale around 2hours away from where I live but was a mess but was recogniseable that it was my old bike numbers were still there (vin nums) bought it brought it home but I’ve got a issue what would happen if i were to put it back on the road would the police take it off me or what? Still got the v5 for it, how would i go about getting it taken off he police data base as not been stolen?? So any advise would be perfect cheers ️
