DT125R stator on DT125RE
-
@Bananper hi mate, not sure what part of the world you're in but there's a company in UK called west country windings who rebuilt my stator off my old gsx 250 for a very reasonable price and all by mail. You can mail it to them and I had mine returned within about 3 days. I think it cost me about £20 but it was about 15 years ago. They are online. Maybe worth a try.

I would be reluctant to think so. It's just a coil of wire. Perhaps the pickup. But the coils? I dunno, I've not heard them going wrong through age.
Put it this way, a lot of this stuff still works on Lambrettas and they weren't theb est built to begin with and are like a million years old.

@Calum I got a friend of mine to take of his left side cover with the coils in and everything, put it on mine and it sparked!
So i'm looking at what options i got when it comes to getting a new one, as paying 100£+ for one on ebay is too much in my opinion. Any suggestions, are there any aftermarket stators? -

@Bananper I would know i'm afraid.
The TZR Belgarda uses a 3MB Engine. I can't remember if I used the coils from that engine on my loom. I would have thought so. But I don't know about the 2RK models. The Belgarda engines should be somewhat scarce.
