Thanks guys for the advice.!
Its been incresibly helpful.
So far I thought I had cracked it until I started the engine and rode it.
I found two old resisters which I connected to both the rear indicators, with the engine not running the indicators worked PERFECTLY...!!!
I was so excited because ive never worked electrics in my life and thought I had chacked it.
Any way Today I rode the bike and went to use the indicator and the rears work perfect but the front not at all.
Dam you electrics.!

LED indicators playing up. -
LED indicators playing up.Thanks for the information.
I honestly don't have a clue what I am doing or about electronics in general.
I was hoping it was just a simple case of plug and play. However, now that you have explained all of that to me, I don't understand any of what you have said but I can now go and google it all and try to work it out for myself.
I'm probably going to regret putting indicators on it.
Thanks again.

LED indicators playing up.Thanks Calum.
Its pouring down outside now so i'l take a look at that when it stops.
Any idea why all 4 indicators are flashing at the same time tho.?
Thanks.

TOP END FLAT SPOTHmmmm, thanks for the replies.
The bike is a 2003.
I will take a look at the power valve tomorrow and see its functions to see if it is linned up correctly or not.
The power valve certainly does kick in nicely when going up through the revs but fats out after 7k.
The bike is not standard, I do not know what mods have been performed other than the after market exhaust system.
It maybe jetted, It may not.
Perhaps it has a restricted CDI....
I bought the bike recently as a none runner and so far ive just rebuilt the top end with a new plug, had the carb apart and rebuilt, had the pawer valve out, cleaned and reassembled and stripped and cleaned all the obvious earthing points and also a new battery.

TOP END FLAT SPOTJust a random enquiry really....
I have recently rebuilt the top end of my DT and alos stripped the carb and rebuilt it along with new plug, I also stripped the power valve and set it up precise and what i image would be the "standard" position.
Ensureing the plastic valve clip thingy lines up with the hole in the casing and ensuring the valve is flush inside the manifold when the ignition is off.I have noticed that the valve kicks in fine through the gears but the high revs (7k +) it is incredibly flat and no pull what so ever.
Any idea what it could be.?
Thanks in advance.

New bike, no clueHa, I love learning new stuff that will stick in the cranium for ever now.
Thank guys and girls. -
New bike, no clueAhhh thats very interesting to know, certainly put my mind to rest knowing I can actually take it out for a ride. I have been avoiding riding it as much as possible.
I have ordered some cheap £6 ebay indicators this evening so when they arrive I will fit them.
I will however put some tape over my switch tomorrow just incase I do get pulled over. -
New bike, no clueCheers Declan.
I just need to sort the electrixs out now, the last owner took it upon himself to remove the indictors and hide all the wires somewhere.
I don't like the idea of riding it on the road with no indicators as i'm sure the police will not take it lightly. -
New bike, no clueShe needs a clean but she's now running great.
Spend some time re routing the throttle cable and adjusting the idle screw with less premix fuel.
Thanks everyone for your input and help. -
New bike, no clueAwesome, thanks Declan.
I will go and try that now.

New bike, no clueRight.....
Ive got the bike going..!
Sounds healthy enough, no fuel leaking anymore either.
HOWEVER.....
I just took it out for a ride about 5 miles in total, it doesn't seem to tick over very well, it runs correctly with the choke on but not very well with the choke off.
(I'm guessin choke on is up and choke off is down?)
The revs can be controlled using the idle screw on the carb when the choke is on, however if you turn the choke off is revs higher and cant be adjusted with the screw...?? Abit weird. When riding along, pull the clutch in the change gear and the revs creep up and you get abit of a (I look like I cant ride a bike moment when you release the clutch because the revs are high)
Also when stopping the bike the revs creep up and rev high like i'm being impatient.!
Is this something someone has experienced before and found the answer to.?
Atm I'm guess the throttle cable may need replacing perhaps.
Thanks.

New bike, no clueRegarding the lack of spark, ive just got back from the closest parts store and they tested my coil, lead and cap and said they were all perfectly fine.
Any idea what else could be causing a lack of spark/?
I have the CDI in my hand but I do not know how to test it.?
Thanks for all your help. -
New bike, no clueThanks for the replies guy.
Ive just taken the carb to pieces and rebuilt it again with the new rubber gasket in place.
It all seemed fine when I connected it until I turned the fuel on and the fuel just went straight into the carb and straight back out the over flow.? Litterally poured out as quickly as it was going in.
Ive since turned it off and on again and its now stopped.... must have been the float sticking.?
Ive just taken the coil off and used a multimeter to it, ive set the multimeter to 200 ohms and i'm getting a reading of 01.1/01.3.HT lead set on 20k ohms is reading 10.70
Does that sound like a fault coil.?
Thanks in advance.

New bike, no clueLol, If I manage to get it going again I will do some more easy riding as ive owned 2 strokes in the past and ive also killed 2 strokes in the past.
I am happy to sit easy for a few hundred miles and open her up occasionally.
I cant wait to get it up amd running again and hit the road in the sun. -
New bike, no clueIve had it about 5 days now.
I bought it broken.
Rebuilt the top end and then covered 2.3 miles and back to square 1 again.!
I couple of minutes I was riding it, I was riding like a granny because of the rebuild and didn't get past a few thousand RPM so didn't get to enjoy that nostalgia feeling of power valve kicking in. -
New bike, no clueI pushed it roughly 4 miles.
I have access to a van but that day someone else was using it so I opted to just lug it home.
I was abit tired at the end but no dramas.
Paid £550 and it also came with a set of knobbly tyres too.
The road tyres are brand new, MOT until December I think. -
New bike, no clue15 second Video I made of when I first started the bike immediately after the rebuild, seems to be running perfectly healthy from what I can see and hear.
Ive just chucked it onto youtube so you can watch it.

New bike, no clueI will buy a new plug tomorrow but to be honest I dont think ive ever seen a healthy blue spark.!
Which means if its electrical it could be the plug, HT lead/cap, coil, CDI, earth... think of anymore.?To be honest I dont think ive taken a photo of it since I bought it a few days ago.
Its abit of a sh*t box to be honest, its seen better days and looks more like a "rat look" not by choice but by lack of maintenance.
Actually theres a picture I took when i was pushing it home.
