Load up one side ? These are the smallest panniers made @21L ans i’m not loading up anything. A loaf of bread, a L of milk, a pair of leggings.
You’re missing the point. I have a big touring buke with full luggage a BMW R1200RT. But that’s for long distance touring. This DT is on the back of a camper, for day trips, a couple of hours spent on those wee roads that are too narrow for the camper. It’s not for any sort of touring, or great weight or the likes.

It’s not extreme it’s very useful. On a camper you are restricted to the weight you can put on a rear axel. So the DT is under 120kg, but then if you go for a spin you want to be able to carry bits and pieces

How do you mean it can’t be comfortable? They don’t interfere with the riding position as with any other pannier rack. It’s the same as riding without only you can put them on a carry something when required.

    Hi all,
Ive recently completed a wee project that I’d like to share with you.
I bought a Hymer 510 A class camper last year and I found a lovely 2003 DT125r, a French import at Beechdale motorcycles in Nottingham.
All was well but you need to somewhere to carry a bottle of water, get a few groceries etc. I bought a Givi PL447 monokey pannier rack (Kawasaki Versus 650) as it had legs and lugs somewhere near the possible bike mounting points. After trial fitting I modified the PL447 to suit, added a new lug inside the rear footrest bracket, and added a wee stainless angle bracket to take the racks top hanger. Finally I added two new lugs on the rear of each Givi side frame for the brace. Then i added two custom made brackets under the seat frame for that lateral .
I already had 21L panniers and they’re perfect on the DT. I may get a set of the 22L Kapa K22N Monokey boxes to have a separate set. I’ll add some pictures of the project and please feel free to ask what you wish.
