Fly wheel weights

Another mod I’ve come across is removed weights on the fly wheel is this something anyones done on here or know the benefits

@mhbikesnbits Fly wheel is just a way to store energy. A lighter flywheel will help the engine to rev faster, this will help you get into the "Powerband" faster, but similarly it will rev out faster. So the time spent in the usable power may be less with a lighter flywheel.
Since it stores energy, it's also the case of shutting off the throttle and how quickly the bike slows down, since a lighter flywheel will store less inertia.
It really depends on how you want to ride the bike. A lot of race bikes don't run fly wheels, instead run an inner rotor kit for the ignition timing.
If the bike is a road going bike, then keeping the flywheel stock, or close as, is a good idea.
