Cathouse Osaka Japan…… Had a few days off from work recently and started the list of parts wanted for the TDR 125 project. And part of the task was to research an exhaust system and after much trawling the the net I found where Cathouse are based in Japan. So question is does anyone have one of these exhausts on their TDR ? Is it much benefit over standard and have you ran your bike with another exhaust eg DEP, Gianelli, Athena, BARacing etc for comparison or even better spent time and money getting the bike set up on a Dyno ?.

Very popular in Japan mainly with 80-90s Yamaha, old school 2 stroke guys a bit like Gibson in the UK. All pipes are hand made to order and they look really trick IMO. Just got a price back from them and it’s looking at ¥70,700 which at the moment is about £420 inc delivery but then there’s import duties so looking at about £500-600

@Scootjockey If it's marked appropriately you won't have to pay import duties.
I buy quite a lot from Japan and do quite well on that fact.

When you mean marked appropriately you mean less than what you paid for it, allegedly

@Scootjockey If the parcels import form states "gift" then you shouldn't need to pay import duties on it.
I've had a few large ticket items in that way.
Obviously, I've bought them for my sole use. Whereas people who are buying en mass to sell them on will need to pay tax on it.
