Thanks mate, will defo look into the impact wrench. I was just hoping it was going to be a quick easy fix with the bits i already had purchased and was shocked to see it was completely different to what i was expecting. My bike is off road due to an accident and im moving house in the next week so the pressure is on as i have no transport for it.

WR125R Front Fork Damper Rod Tool.
This 3/8"sq drive extra-long 8mm Allen key socket is ideal for removing and refitting the damper rod in the front forks. The extra length is required to reach the bolt beyond the spindle hole. As the bolt has a shallow opening, this tool is perfect for a damage free job!

Hi, i hope someone can advise me as to what tool is needed to take the front forks apart. The older DT's have a hexagon visable where the tool seats. Looking down the fork tube on the DTX there is no hexagon. It is extreamly puzzling...
