DT125R FORUM

I have seen some people fit a HID to there dts just wondering what's the best way to do this do I just plug it straight in and will it work is it going to cause me problems IE strain my regulator or... What's everyone else running I have a hid bulb sitting here doing nothing so may aswell use the thing lol

Thanks guys I'll take it to the shop once I have it off I'm only changing the piston because I have never changed it it rides mint but just peace of mind

Do I need to rebore my head I have a noise coming from my bike sounds like a knock from the piston I'm gona strip it down and order a piston to fit the current bore my question is is there anything I need to check will I need to rebore if the cylinder looks OK or is it literaly a case of ordering the correct size piston and popping it in

@Calum I have had the clutch cover off everything looks good tbh

@Calum so the chances of it not getting oil to the gearbox is slim to non it goes in every gear nicely just seems to rattle alot especially in nuteral with clutch out

Hello everyone how does my oil get trough from the clutch side to the gearbox as when I put the 750ml of oil in my bike it seems to display as overfull on the little guage hole on the right hand side of my bike wonder g if the oil holes are blocked up and its not actually filling the gearbox side of things

Has anyone done this I want to recon my clocks but if I'm gona do it I want to reset the milage to 0 as if they were brand new

Hi all I have a dtr 125 I am currently baffled by what is happening I have been over and over the wiring diagram and am 99.9%sure it's exactly how it should be however when the key is off I'm getting a spark when the key is turned on the power valve boots up but I lose my spark somebody had tried to steal the bike in the past and all the wires had been cut I have had 3 of these bikes in the past re wired all 3 off them myself but this one is stressing me right out how could I possibly have a spark with the ignition unplugged I have also noticed that when I disconnect the battery I can get a spark with the key on or off but obviously this means the cdi is getting no power and the power valve will not operate and also the bike wouldn't cut out with the key being turned off any help is very much appreciated thanks in advance
