Just appreciate, those types of displays are very underwhelming in reality. They often cannot be seen from certain angles, or show erroneous items when viewed from certain angles. The photo is misleading, I appreciate it looks good, but in reality, it probably doesn't.
It's definitely cheap, but all I'd say is, unless you have to, DON'T butcher your original clocks.
I run vapor trails clocks on mine, have had it for about 10+ years now still works a treat, but I done this for many reasons, bike was stolen and loom was cut, I also use different forks/yokes and therefore the mounts were all gone.
But generally, the clocks are better left alone.

@Mattey No onboard storage on the Vapor (2010) models that is, so when the backup battery goes (only lasts 2-3 years as the display is always on) you lose all mileage. Ultimately they're designed for enduro use where you only really care about rebuild-rebuild mileage.
Consequently my DTR reads zero miles everytime I power it up.

Interesting,I have VaporX on my DT but keeps the milage when changing the battery,it was bought around 2010 or 2011,maybe older batch? Even with factory reset didn't loose the odometer kilometers.
