Mini bike starter problems…

Howdy do folks?!
It’s been a while but I’d value any opinions:
I’ve just replaced the pull start on my neighbour kids mini KXD. If I take out the spark plug and pull it, it feels normal (kinda like a 40cc chainsaw) but if I put it back in ,it feels like I’m try to start a 400cc single!!…
I’m guessing I’ve got a very blocked exhaust pipe. The Downpipe isn’t much fatter than my skinny thumb!…
It’s a very short plug and doesn’t close up when tightened in…What yooz think?…
-
Well wasn’t the pipe, with the pipe off and the plug only screwed in a bit (so it’s definitely not touching the piston). It does the same massive compression thing. It hasn’t been started for over a few years, or more.
I’m wondering if it’s just dry inside the barrel. Not sure of the best way to lube it with 2 stroke… -
Can you turn the flywheel by hand with the spark plug in? Use a drill and some lube to make sure it's moving freely. I mean the fact it rotates by hand with the spark plug out is odd, two strokes don't typically make so much compression that its hard to turn over.

Hey bud! Hope life treating you well…
It’s what’s been twisting my cantaloupe! The only time I had anything like it before was after a rebuild, and then only for a short time
I’ve had zero experience with 50cc mini moto X bikes. I thought it’d be like pull starting a lawnmower or a big chainsaw. Then again I’spose they were set up for RPM speed, not torque like a 2 stroke without a power band… -
I think it’s got a big bore kit on it and the crank and piston was covered with sticky oil and shtuff that gets left after everything evaporated. Washing the tank and carb of the ‘paraffin’ smelling two stroke was so bad that I removed the reeds and plugged them ant the exhaust outlet. Washed the crank case out with fresh petrol and good oil. Haven’t had a chance to put it back together and try it yet . Health issues are really making me feel the cold…
I’ll get there cause I’m a stubborn bastard
