Hello everyone.
I've been having a problem with the bike over revving when throttle is closed. I have read and been through every possible fix except a) the reed block letting in air or b) the crank seal letting in air.
Yesterday I noticed the smoke from the exhaust smelled like a 90,000 mile 4 stroke so now I know its the crank seal/s (oil being pulled from the gearbox into the cylinder and being burned).
A question if I may:- Am I missing anything from the list of parts I need to get this job done of replacing the crank seals?
1, left and right side crank seals.
2, clutch cover gasket
3, Magneto cover gasket.
Thanks, rob.

Just checking, the crank seals aren't blind on the 200 cases are they?

I can't recall whether they can only be insterted with the bearings out. That's certainly the case for the RS engines.
