@NINJA very convenient, thanks. Will go for it in the long run, when the airline industry is working again.

Hello from Germany (this time with pictures) -
Hello from Germany (this time with pictures)Hey Guys, just wanted to say Hello to erveryone. I bought my DT125R 4BL in 2011 and rode it actively till 2014. There after I registered it with 17kW but it was basically just standing around the last years. As all DT's it has a lot of history. I do not want to sell it so I decided it needs a complete renovation. Finally due to the Virus I have time to do it. A few pics from 2012 (after a fresh paintjob):
and with the new headlight
The renovation will include a powdercoating for the frame and swing arm + a fresh paint job (doesn't look that good anymore after some crashes) and a lot of maintenance.
Currently I am struggling to open up the speedo. Anyone an idea how I remove the reset pin to clean it from the inside?
Btw I am here because the German Version dt125.de was shut apparently. Quite sad, there were a lot of good tutorials and nice builds in it. Looking forward to my experience in this community

led indicatorsYou do not need any specific diode, just enter 1A schottky diode, chosse a reasonable voltage and take the cheapest (3A etc. is also fine). To make the build more compact you can also use any other ground source eg from the high beam indicator:

'97 DTR renovation anthracite / metallic blueBecause of the virus and therefore an unlimited amount of free time I decided to renovate my good old DTR. This was the state of 2012 after a fresh paint job:
Because I was too cheap, I did not powder-coat the swing arm and the frame at the age of 16, so I decided to do it right this time. It was also a good reason to tidy up the garage:
The dissasembly worked fine except for one cunt screw at the lower forkleg which needed some extra attention. I really hope I am able put the fork together in the right order
Luckily I am able to sandblast at a friends building company. Next thing is to get the powder-coating in RAL 7016 (suggestion of the company).
Any thoughts of the coulour RAL7016? Fork, swing arm and, frame and some smaller parts will get this colour. Tank and plastics will stay in the colour they are (but still need some fresh paint). To remove the colour from the fork i will use paint remover since I am to careful with the fragile aluminium.
