Thanks alot , just what i wanted to hear it narrows down the "to buy" list
where u running with or without powerjet circuit ?
problem is im changing to a pwk type carb and they use boresizerated mainjets where the mikuni is using flowrating so cant use current jetting as guideline as there is too many unknown variables (well ,for me) thats why i needed a hint from someone who had tried pwk type on a DTr
but i think i have to bite the turd an just order a boatload of pilot and mainjets and maybe a needlekit and take it from there
@Arild over here in sweden is not far from me here in denmark , so what ever works for u might work for me aswell
i just have to go the old trail an error-route
thanks again for input
@Arild i know that , its just the deliverytime from china that bugs me , just needed a pointer in the right direction , no point in waiting 20-40 days to save a 5er on maybe 2 kits thats never gets used if someone been there already and could give a hint
i do have a mikuni hex mainjet to boresize chart but i dont know if its that simple when switchin from TM to PWK (ex mikuni hex 280 = size 144 keihin )
and another thing i cant get my head around : PWK pilotjet sizes VS Mikuni TM , at the moment im running a fairly rich pilot om my TM (27,5) but what would that equal to in keihinsizes as they uses larger numbers , smallest pilot i could find is a 30
but thanks for the input
anyone here tried 30mm pwk on a 125r ? (cleaned up ports , boyesens , full DEP , head work , enlarged airbox snorkelhole ca Twice the area ) looking for a starting point in main and pilot jet sizes just to get an idea of which range of jets i will have to buy ?
@Calum said in reeds confusion ??:
@Dingle74 I'm sure there is information on here about what can be used. Try using the search bar..
good pointe with the searchthing , but the searchfunction is not my new freind  when searching for reeds i get everything from pics of cracked seat to chain and wheel-questions :face_with_hand_over_mouth: so have just skimmed over lightly
there was one post though sayin that wr dont fit and poster wanted to show a pic of the difference but sadly it didnt work for him
@Calum said in reeds confusion ??:
Exhaust, CDI, carb, air box head and barrel are all good places to start.
have been over most of it : full DEP exhaust , ports cleaned up no messing with timing , head with "normal" combustionchamber , snorkel trown away and hole enlarged and carb jetted up to suit , stock european CDI/YPVS

Not aware of any reed blocks being a direct fit. I think the blasters can be made to fit if you don't mind modifying the inlet manifold.
That said, the reed blocks on these bikes are not the restrictive part of the engine, so people don't tend to modify them.
well if modifying manifold means filing mounting holes slight oval , then its a mod i can live with
what i really wanted to hear was that a wr200 or a blaster RAD-valve would drop in with no problems :grinning_cat_face_with_smiling_eyes: but looks like i must stick to just getting some new petals as the current unknown carbonthings (hytech maybe) in now are a little fuzzy on the edges
thanks for ur help
always thought that dt/wr200 reedcages was the same as dt125r but after some googlin im a bit confused
what will drop straight in my 125r , a dt/wr200 boyesen RAD-valve ? blaster 200 vforce reedcage or a boyesen RAD-valve ?
and what about petals for the stock cage ? boyesen has been my favorite in other bikes , but there seems to be some mismatch/mixup in which productnumber will fit :face_with_raised_eyebrow: some sites say 666 (boyesens site) 125others say both666 and 715 , even found some listing 654 as fitting (wr200) :goblin:
can someone plz enlighten me
