    Hello,

I'm no Tik Tok guy but this folk seems to explain a way to know how to adjust it in a cabruetor from an early model DT, dont know if it will help much, but its the best I could find out there.

(I recomend you to read it in subtitles since the guy is talking in Latin Spanish)

I see you also recomended me the Zeeltronic. I'll make some research about it. The main problem for this bike at least in Spain (where I'm from) is that there's not really any market for it, and it's a shame really. I saw the carburetor as the "accesible small powering piece".

I just dont want to change the cylinder or big things like that, just a small thing to change the performance of the bike without going for too much, just a little push. If Mikuni is good brand then i'll search for a 32 Mikuni to keep the line of being always equiped with Mikuni.

I bought the bike with a Gianelli exhaust with homologation. I see almost every DT with installed Arrow, DEP, Turbokit or Gianelli exhausts kits. It's the only aftermarket thing installed to it.

Now before changing carburetor or anything else, I need to fix the regulator, alternator and battery, and then i'll see.

I see you're also pretty close with the bike, and very aknowledged about it. I really aprecciate the advice you're giving me.

    Hey

Thanks for the info about the mikuni or dellorto, ill try looking up for those. Changing the carburetor seemed the most affordable modification to do. I dont have much money and I just would want a little change, just some more horsepower instead of changing the gear ratio. I dont know much of electronics so I wouldn't want to mess up anything around there. Just wanted to see if it was an OK thing to do in this bike. And like in 3 months i'm having my drivers liscence. I wanted to do this also, because for me it doesnt feel right to not have done anything to it, it felt like a bit of shame. I dont know.

Hey, I got a DT RE from 2008 and I wanted to ask (Since its difficult to find any information) what should I do if I change the stock carburetor, a Mikuni 28, to a OKO 32. Should i also re-ajust the oil pump? In my opinion it would be the best thing to do, but I dont really want to mess anything up. Any advice on this?

    Thanks.
