Servo motor issues -
Servo motor issues@spookdog thanks, I will. I think I have found the right one. There was also one in Germany that a chap was selling, he sent a link to a German forum where a chap had de-restricted a 3RM-10 to a 3RM-20 by adding some sort of switch in place of the Reed switch. I think the Google translation is losing exactly what it is though!
Any idea? -
Servo motor issues@spookdog thanks for the reply, I read somewhere else, I think on this forum, that a faulty Cdi/ igniter could be the cause. Finding another is my next mission by the look of things

Servo motor issues@calum thanks for the reply, that reassures me somewhat.
Do you think I should keep an eye open for a replacement cdi/ igniter or are there aftermarket parts available still or at all? -
Servo motor issuesHi, new to this site, I have recently picked up a 2002 DT125R. I have had a bit of a look over it and the wiring has been messed with but everything works as it should, although the side stand switch is not there.
I have bought the correct servo unit and plugged it in. When turning the up ignition on, it turns about half a turn the. Jiggles back and forth 5 or 6 times then stops (without the cables connected)
If in disconnect the red and white wire, the servo turns a full rotation (or there abouts) then does it again, then nothing.
I have tried a couple of other Yamaha servos which look the same but have different connector plugs.
They both do exactly the same.
Any ideas before I go chasing the wrong part to try next?
Thanks in advance.
