Vibration problem
-
Hello guys so i figured out that i'd just open up a new topic instead of continuing on my old topic.
So the problem is that my DT is making these annoying vibrations when i ride around, what i've figured out is that it must have something to do with the clutch, because when i pull in the clutch i can hear a wheel or something like that slowing down and when it stops slowing down and i rev it it doesn't vibrate. Also i've noticed when it's idling it makes a rattly noice when the clutch is not pulled in.
What could be the cause? I changed the clutchplates after i had this problem so that can't be the issue here, the only thing i noticed that looked wrong was this little freeplay on the axle that holds the clutch basket: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZEvNP-LKpU
Thanks

That's mental. Definitely shouldn't be doing tht.
If I had to guess, I'd say worn dog ears.
That's the primary gearbox shaft, which engages with the output shaft.
I can't say I've ever noticed play like that, but at a guess I'd say no way!
Check the output shaft for similar play. If the output shaft exibits no play then I'd say the primary shaft dog ears are excessively worn.
If I had to guess!"!!
