Exhaust help needed!
-
So I should be getting my DT tomorrow and I'm looking into exhausts. Only problem is I'm not too keen on the look of any of the end cans for DTR's out there, so here's my plan:
I get a stainless expansion chamber from Romeu, and put this Arrow can on it:

But here lies my problem; I'll need the link pipe piece that runs from the chamber to the end can, but I don't want to buy something like a deep can just to chop it up for the link pipe.
I'll most likely get my dad to weld up a flange on the end of the pipe to for the 4 bolt can on but the main problem is the pipe! Any ideas or different routes to go about it? -
Not sure if it will be much help, but you can buy bits of stainless steel tubing off eBay.

@MIGHTYMAN Cheers mate, would be if I had a pipe vender to hand!!
I might just end up getting the can from Romeu which he charges just an extra 40 for, it's pretty nice looking to be fair, and when I get bored of it I can modify it for the arrow. -
Yeah I agree about Romeu's end cans. They look very nice. I ended up buying a set of twin end cans for my DTX from him a while back. Very impracticable but they looked good!

@MIGHTYMAN Did you get the short ones or normal length? Which look best as I'm unsure which is which in his pictures?!
-
I prefer shorter looking cans. So I got two short ones
-
@MIGHTYMAN fair enough man do you know the length of them??
-
I'll measure them when I'm home and let you know.

@MIGHTYMAN okay mate cheers!:D

That's what I have done on my romeu pipe. Went for the Jolly Moto one though cause they is bad man ting.
Yep had a flange made up and welded to the pipe to hold it all together. No biggie

@MIGHTYMAN thanks mate!! Think I'll go for the longer one if I get it as don't want them to look lost behind the plastic
