Power valve servo making knocking noise

hi, my power valve has always been a little slow on the cleaning cycle but always functioned perfect ive had a persistent metal ringing noise though for a while on the cycle so i figured its time for a clean and re grease of the gearbox in there after doing so its now even slower and makes a clicking and knocking noise ive been careful to make sure the pins are in their locating holes and the gears are meshed together is there something im missing?

Are the bushes okay in the powervalve housing?

@Calum the problem seems to be with the plastic cogs in the housing I would say that one is skipping it’s just weird that it’s only doing it now it’s been apart
