    Just been reading about chopping the whole of where the snorkel is on the airbox out and it apparently transforms the bike has anyone done this witchcraft on there

      @mhbikesnbits Mmm, yeah I remember this from way back when, memory is hazy about the results.

      I think the problem is, is you'll lose the snorkel and therefore lose the ability for smooth air flow.

      I think I remember benefits to removing the top of the TZR RR Belgarda Airbox as it was too restrictive. I think on the DTR it was the case of getting the DT200R or DT230 Lanza Snorkels and fitting those to your stock airbox will help with performance.

        @Calum to be fair I did read it for the 200 engine, but I also remember my 125x having let’s say a 40mm hole cut in the side of the air box with some mesh that was done when I purchased it, so now idea if it benefited from it or not
