Properly Sorted with her 18 tooth sprocket and a carb clean!

I'd finally call her Finished'!
Carb was full of crap, emulsion tube was packed solid half way up on the inside, and the remaining little holes were not fully clear.
Had that US cleaned at Rea Racing, flushed and refilled the coolant system and then finally, upped the front sprocket from standard 16 teeth to 18.I swear this is what the engine needed, this gear ratio set is perfect for what I need, and now I can do 50 or 60 mph without having to rev to 9k+ nor am i hammering frantically up through the gears like a psycho it's beautiful!

Sweet! Chuffed for you bud!…
17T is a good choice for general road use. I was cruising at 55 at 5500RPM’s…
I was hitting 70 in 5th at that setup (17 front 57 rear) can’t remember the revs.
Was wind free days though…
It’s always amazing to me how 55mph can feel like a ton! Must be an age thing …Is yours unrestricted? I can’t remember if you have a power valve servo fitted?…
I’ve got the same Caberg lid in mat black. It’s a bit prone to wind noise though… -
@Calum That's what I reckon mine would have done standard gearing, but fastest I got was 67.
The 18 tooth ONLY just fits, and you have to remove the rubber chain-bumper/whatever piece from the casing in front of where the sprocket sits, for it to fit in there.
I've not a clue what top speed it could now manage with the power it has, but I'm sure it'll be fast enough for me with a little room to spare.

Sitting on a tall bike with an upright riding stance almost exactly increases apparent speed by 33.33(recurring)%!
Mine's a French import, 'unrestricted' with fully working PV. Don't know what that means in actual RW BHP though, but it seems to be enough for me.
I hadn't noticed unusual wind noise but then again, my last helmet was the earlier Duke, and I tend to ride everywhere with my visor open at least an inch anyway so I always get tons of wind noise

Gorgeous color scheme!
