Undeniably Japanese
-
It's been since August when I last started up my Starlet. Since then the rear end has gone for a complete overhaul. Rear beam.off. Polybushes powdercoating. Stainless bolts. Both calipers striped and rebuilt. I have made new copper brake lines for it. Stainless steel braided hoses. New hel hose retainer clibs. New discs.
This afternoon, after the battery was charged, I started her up. I kid you not straight away it idled into life. Perfect 1K idle.
Just beautiful purr! No question about it that this car is Japanese. Only a machine made in Japan would be such lovely motor. Oh, she's petrol with 215'000 miles on the clock.
Amazing! Looking forward to the car shows this year!
