2005 Aprillia MX125 SM yes or no ?
-
@declan How are they not as good as an RS.
Yes Scrim they're wicked bikes, engines are straight out of an RS which were used competitively in the SuperTeen MotoGP. Fantastic engines, not without their problems. High maintenance and neglect is usually their enemy.
Ally Swingarm and USD with decent brakes to boot. Great bikes, far better than the DT.

Get it then yes Cal if it runs good ? Its in Switzerland though lol !
-
@scrimsmustang I think they're cracking bikes. But as with all Italian things, it's the electrics that are sketchy!
-
@scrimsmustang Top bikes for sure;

I have one partially stripped ATM. The MX's are not perfect, but come fully loaded as that review shows. They do offer many upgrades to the DTR/X's, much more of a track bike built for the road scenario. However, I wouldn't recommended it as a commuter bike, but for sheer weekend blaster fun their hard to beat. What year is it, any pics too?

It was a 2005 but i didn't get it in the end i decided against it, ended up getting an NSR125RR 2000 model instead that ive now sold.
-
@scrimsmustang Their becoming a lot more rarer these days, if it was a sell-on you would have made some £££.
-
Yes it was just to sell on but prices were not good the few i managed to see.
-
@scrimsmustang The other thing is, there is no guarantee it wouldn't need work. And then there goes your profit margin.
I've yet to see a rotax engine that hasn't suffered damage...
