    How does the oil get into the gearbox side of the engine

      Hello everyone how does my oil get trough from the clutch side to the gearbox as when I put the 750ml of oil in my bike it seems to display as overfull on the little guage hole on the right hand side of my bike wonder g if the oil holes are blocked up and its not actually filling the gearbox side of things

        It goes through various holes and the gearbox bearings.

        There are plenty of ways for the oil to circulate.

        I don't use the level, just put 750ml and don't worry about it.

          @Calum so the chances of it not getting oil to the gearbox is slim to non it goes in every gear nicely just seems to rattle alot especially in nuteral with clutch out

            @ward4014 Yeah shouldn't rattle. Be worth just whipping the clutch cover off to have a look if it's disconcerting,
