    Hello everyone,
I want to share my story with the TZR 125 4FL electric. I’m a self-employed mechanic and a customer wanted to get his DT200R engine wired up on his TZR 125 4FL. So I started inspecting the wiring harness and found out that this would not be a easy job. On the DT200R engine was a Stator from the DT125RE/X DE06 installed. The Problem is that the original Stator (TZR125 4FL) has 2 wires coming from the charging Coil to the 4FL-10 CDI. The DT125RE/X Stator has 3 wires to the 1D0-00 CDI, but there is also a TZR 125 Stator in some models which look similar to the DT125RE Stator the only difference is that it also has only 2 wires from the Charging coil. So, it isn’t possible to run a Stator from the DT 125 RE/X on the TZR125 4FL with the normal CDI. So, I ordered a Zeeltronic without connectors. The Zeeltronic can work with 2 pin charging coils (DT125R,TZR125 and some more models) and 3 pin charging coils (DT125RE/X). The other Benefit is that you can control the pv and ignition timing otherwise the DT200R Engine wouldn’t show it’s full potential because of the 125ccm CDI. Another Problem on this specific bike is the YVPS Servo which only is 4pin so it would not fit on a Zeeltronic (I think). So I installed a DT125R 5pin Servo (You could also go with a 6pin (DT125RE/X). I have made a wiring diagram where the Colors are different on the PV Servo, because I made them longer. You need to look them up on the Zeeltronic Side. Also you need to make sure to use diodes on the neutral switch and the sidestand switch. More information you can see in the Wiring Diagram. Feel free to ask questions. Schaltplan TZR 125 4FL Zeeltronic DT 125 RE Stator.PNG

Whats the bike ride like with the DT-R gearing in a road bike?

You may not have tested it yet but just curious thats all 😉

I went the other way and it wasn't good.

The final gear in the Belgarda TZR motor is really short. Revs barely dropped. I suspect you're meant to be gunning it along and tucked in behind the visor and this is its last attempt to get a few more mph. On the DTR I was doing 80 apparently. So...

@Calum when I had a DTR years ago with pinned ypvs it had a higher top speed when I lowered the gearing as the motor was actually able to pull better via a ratio that in theory would have given a lower maximum
