Opinions Honda NSR 125 1989

@Irongamer727 personally I prefer the rs I’ve never owned or seen either bike in person but I’m growing closer to the rs and want one more and more by the day and you can still get plastics for them but I’m not a huge fan of the old rs styling but the newer ones are beautiful

Get the NSR, NSR engine is good for 30ish hp bone stock just deresreicted and is bullet proof reliable compared to the aprillia. I thrash the shit out of my Honda CRM125 " same engine lower gear ratios " and it loves it pulls like a train and just begs to be hammered makes a DTR seem like a 50 lol.

30hp just derestricted really is there much exaggeration there @scrimsmustang if not would love to see what a tuned one would get

A fit full power foxeye nsr 125 is good for around 115mph, my 03 crm has 85 on clock and goes off with ease, just derestricted full arrow pipe.

I doubt very much a foxeye nsr will do 115, the earlier jc20 has more aggressive porting and wont do that. They did do a sp version of both jc20 and jc22. Jc20sp had kick start, longer 1st gear, arrow exhaust and a different rear shock and were supposed to be over 30bhp

@calum not too sure whether it actually makes much difference but I owned a 2007 rs125 full power model, standard pipe and carb settings according to the previous owner but with the cdi copper wire cut (supposed to unleash 33bhp??) I had an indicated GPS top speed of 105mph.
