No spark!

@declan It's most likely either something is not connected properly, an earth is missing, or a blown fuse? Have you checked all those dude???
-
@NINJA there’s no fuse fitted no earth was removed the 4 wires I had to snip and re fit are in good order with new connectors I’m a lil lost
-
@declan Did you take any photo's of the bike pre/mid disassemble? If yes then refer back to them and look for any differences between the old & new installations.
-
@NINJA the wires are colour coded and I marked every wire that was important to the starting and running of the engine

I found these wires wrapped up two of them are joined together I can’t remember if there were other joined like this, they come from the same loom as the battery wires -

@NINJA never that simple is it
I have power before the coil but when connected up I get nothing
-
@NINJA yeah just as the original was, it will shock me every time but the second that power wire touches the ht terminal the power vanishes
-
@declan It sounds like you have a short somewhere else? Re-check all the wires as something is a miss.
-
@NINJA I can’t find anything wrong it doesent make any sense I could understand if it was weak power but no power at all is flowing through
-
@declan Well something is causing the issue, try using a volt meter to check volt's & Amps etc
-
@declan Look in the Haynes/Owners manual there should be a list of voltages. You then just put one probe one each wire and check your readings against the ones listed.
-
@NINJA hi, I have looked but I’m not familiar with wiring in general I don’t know which ones I’m supposed to be testing
@declan The ones to the coil would be the first place I would look. Then check any other wires associated with the ignition system. I suspect that you have something either not connected correctly or an earth is failing? Scrape some paint off underneath the ground eyelets to ensure that you have a good earth, as a bad earth will cause a short circuit and give you problems.
