Help needed please my dt 125 re is not charging

Hi as the title says wondering if I could possibly get some hel my dt 125 re will not charge it's battary fitted a brand new one and it lasted a couple days and died I have checked the wilt ale when revving the bike and it's only at 8v my electrical I image is not that good any help would be great Tia

Probably best to have only one thread open on this cause I can't remember what we have and haven't checked off.

Have you checked the voltage rectifier.

I'll close the other thread I wasn't very clear with what the problem was up to now I was told to get a multi meter I have one now and checked the voltage at the wires that's as far as we got
