Dt170 vs ktm exc 125
-
They bought my TSR aswell, also better than a DTR in my opinion, handle better 10 times better brakes and suspension but cant touch the CRM lol
-
@scrimsmustang Lol. I believe it coming from you. If anyone else said it I'd have thought they were just bashing the DTR lol.
It's not as pretty as the DTR or honda though.
-
@scrimsmustang don't think it will win over a wr200 but you're right, they are powerful. I Wonder how Honda manages to squeeze out 30 bhp and how Yamaha only ~20 bhp. Seems odd.
-
@irongamer727 just researched the Kdx 200 36hp that’s crazy
-
@declan Old 89 ones being 36. Definitely not then lol.
I dunno, I could be talking absolute brown. I've been on a 1991 KDX125 and it wasn't exactly savage. And they reckon they are 24bhp. Which again I doubt.
But as said, long time ago and I have no reference any more.
-
@irongamer727 well you gotta understand that bikes aren’t always in competition with each other it’s just the way it is for example a ktm 525 I thought would be a beast but it’s no where near as fast as any 450 not that I’ve ridden either bikes
-
@irongamer727 No, I never said the CRM was 30 lol
Pretty sure no one did.
-
@irongamer727 I won't lie, I thought you were Trolling lmao
-
@calum what’s preventing my am6 engine from reaching say cr80 performance say I put a cr80 head on there magicaly get the crank to fit with the carb etc would it essentially be nearly as fast as one like what’s the limiting factors apart from fitment of Honda parts
-
-
@declan the am6 has so much tuning potential. You could go for the Parmakit 110cc or for more performance the Stage 6 90cc or something like that. But spending those kind of money on a moped engine isn't worth it. You're dt is still going to run better.
-
@irongamer727 yeah those kits are mad expensive In some cases I can get Airsal kits for around 200 Ish rated for around 14hp maybe if I paired that up with a nice crank it would be nice but it adds up I guess
