Power valve issue

@thechompster my mistake, I meant without the 'r' lol if it hasn't got the resistor in it the valve finds a mind of its own. You can hear the exhaust note change as you ride

I guess it's ok as it ran great with the power valve working spot on for a few weeks. Just got a cdi off eBay and a servo so will try the cdi first and see if it fixes it.

Problem solved. It was the cdi unit. Changed that and it runs like a dream. Thought I'd let everyone know as sometimes people get it fixed and you never hear the outcome

@thechompster Glad you got it working bud, as I said previously, I guess these bikes are just getting to that age now unfortunately.

@calum thanks. Yeah sad really. Won't be many around after another 10 years.
@thechompster Zeeltronic make ignitions for these bikes so there is an aftermarket solution.
