    Been busy lately actually riding amongst other things, collected my 250mx yesterday after electronic ignition and 12v conversion completed. Used my bike to develop the ignition kit which is why they have had it a while, will be riding at the end of the month when my insurance renewal is due (not giving them an admin fee for a few weeks waiting)0_1525533535644_20180504_181656-1024x576.jpg

    Have been following the forum Calum, just silent (for a change!) Have not started anything else as intend to enjoy the warmer weather riding a bit more, and need to get on building new storage shed.

    @oldman I expect the forum will fall silent over the summer months as (most) of us will be out enjoying our winter projects!

    Now I REALLY need to finish mine. Suns out today and I am not.

    A man can never have enough sheds, although the white 89 has gone to its new owner I have filled the space with the 250mx. Went out on my vstrom yesterday with the white dt owner and his son on a tenere, all down the lanes and countryside, fantastic day. 89 bike still running in but running perfectly.

    Last year I did not get out much at all, delays getting wheels respoked just went on and on, this year is going to be different and intend to enjoy my bikes a lot more. Hope Calum does the same and enjoys the fruits of his labour!

    @glynn123 Still waiting for tank to come back from respray for my 125mx, that's a French one I bought from Scrim, it's an 80 or 81 I think. Should be this week or next if I am lucky, not going to do anything else to it unless I have to, In surprisingly good condition for the year so will be riding that as well! Soon have one for every day of the week at this rate

    @oldman sounds like the dream mate haha, you'll have to show us all some pictures of the 125 MX when it's back together, my mates is brilliant fun, great little lightweight machine.
    Vibratey little engine but good torque and reasonably fast for what it is, wonder what the cruising speed on them in 5th is mind, my mates doesn't have a speedo and seems low geared šŸ¤”

    All good things to come to those who wait...at least that's what I've been told.

    I ought to really sort my car out to be fair lol, I'm the only one I know who doesn't drive lol. It's getting embarrassing now, having to get my mates to pick me up everywhere lol. TOORAGIC!

    Roll on the winter projects šŸ˜„

    Passed mot today but runs rough at low revs and noisy with slipping clutch, another job on the list. On a plus note 12 v conversion excellent, as is the electronic ignition (remember points!)

    @oldman I think my Dad's DTB is 6V lol.

    I don't think he's interested in changing it, but getting genuine head lamps for these are hard.

    It wa the only thing bugging me as the decals were age cracked and paint worn off by seat rubbing on front, took ages to get correct shade but got there in the end, will have a look for a pic and post if so find it.Going to get fresh foam in the seat as well , too soft for my butt!
