Aprilia RS125 2010 Spain's no.1

@Calum i like the originals for 2010 model. But i think they are too big, thats why i bought these ones, smaller and “carbon” and will look good with tyga carbon parts i will add. For example, on my dtx i dont even use turn signals.
wrote on 1 Feb 2019, 13:41 last edited by@pedrobatista10 I bought some "Red" ones for my DT, but you can tell the difference in quality between these cheap chinese ones I bought, and the carbon fibre that's on it. And I can't help feel the same for these. You'll have high quality carbon fibre parts and these may offset it.
But won't hurt to see what they're like. And it's your bike, keep us posted.

I had similar one's on my DTR, they were not a perfect match with the other parts which I carbon wrapped, but they looked fine and you didn't really notice the difference. It's only really noticeable when there side_by_side or against each other.

Yes, i know this is cheap material, but i dont want to spend cash on turn lights on a reputable brand. This enough for me. If they stop working i dont care. Only 11€ wasted.
Thank you so much for your feedback and help. Your bike is my inspiration

But I think turn signals are really important. And I happen to be slightly biased on the Spains No 1 as I sold my Spains No1 to get my DT!
And I ADORED my Spains No 1

@NINJA Yeah it's just a Rotax 122 with a Race Replica Graphics set.
I was going to get another Spains No 1, but fell in love with Max Biaggi's race replica which is why I went with that design in the end.

@Calum EFI now that is interesting, it still used a carb alongside the EFI I gather. So was this just a means to restrict RPM's for Euro3 emissions or an upgrade to the fuel system for MORE POWER!!! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

wrote on 1 Feb 2019, 20:24 last edited by@NINJA Nevermind I found the answer;
In 2008, the bike's electronics were changed froml Nippon-Denso to Piaggio/EFI Technology electronics, most notably the new ECU to meet the more stringent EURO3 Emissions standards. The bike has also been fitted with a vacuum fuel tap on the tank and a new Dell'orto 28 mm VHST carburettor that features the vacuum pipe extension.

Genuinely though, the CDI can be used in conjunction with a TPS though. The Zeeltronic allows for a TPS to be used to finely tune the ignition.
I remember getting all excited way back when. The same age Aprilia SR50 Scooter was genuinely EFI, so when I saw the RS was as well I thought it would be the same technology.

wrote on 1 Feb 2019, 22:35 last edited by NINJA 2 Jan 2019, 22:37@Calum I was super excited initially thinking mmmmmmmmmmm now that would be an awesome upgrade. I was thinking along the lines of KTM's TPI system and how cool it would be to add it to my MX. Then I read that article and was well deflated. :pouting_face: :pouting_face: :pouting_face:
I do however have an airbox upgrade to share soon, plus I now have the larger 34mm carb and Carbon reeds. So there should be an improvement there??? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :winking_face: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
