Lighten a fly wheel

Has anyone lighted a flywheel on the dt125 or the dt200 as this is what I’m thinking of doing on my project I know this works for some bikes but not others

@mhbikesnbits No. Norfe on the old site did it. Said it chewed through gears.

@Calum I’d personally take it off be way better without it I did it to mine but must have a fouled plug or something because I have no spark so not able to test it yet

You would need an inner rotor kit.

the engine would also last five minutes. Flywheels are essential.

@declan You can take them off.

Inner rotor kits. But they are not practical for the road. Kill engines and no good uphill.

But for a flat track they're fine.
