Best chain and sprocket setup- Acceleration
-
Hi guys wondering if anyone could help me on a chain and sprocket setup for acceleration on DT125R 1989, biggest I could find for rear is 57 tooth, is this correct and if so what would be best to match with front sprocket for most acceleration?
Also possibly any chain recommendations?
Thanks -

Thanks@NosmokeNopoke You should be able to get any 428 pitch chain and the rear sprocket should be fairy universal. The front sprocket needs to fit onto the output shaft but to be honest unless you have overly modified the bike you should be fine buying stock. I find it easier to buy my chain and sprockets as a kit. Something like this would be fine for you:

Thanks@NosmokeNopoke Use JT's webby for a guide, click on the Full gear ratio chart to determine whether you want more top end or faster acceleration and choose the sizes according to your desires;
