    I have seen some people fit a HID to there dts just wondering what's the best way to do this do I just plug it straight in and will it work is it going to cause me problems IE strain my regulator or... What's everyone else running I have a hid bulb sitting here doing nothing so may aswell use the thing lol

    I did this back in the day. Bought a h3 kit that came with everything you would need.

    My advice, don't bother. The beam pattern is incorrect and you end up blinding oncoming vehicles.

    Not really what you wanna be doing, especially with cars.

    i run a led bulb in mine fo over a year seems ok and not had problems with on coming traffic

    i changed it back last year as it had turned in the holder and fail he did say bring it back when i replace it to set it up but not had time but it due again next month so will find out but the led buld is supose to follow the same beam pattern as normal bulb
