Electrical connectors

Hey long time no post , I’m looking for some replacement cdi connectors like original connectors is there anywhere I can buy them.
Thanks Matthew

Bikers Toolbox Limited is the best I’ve found so far...
I know it’s an old thread but I was searching for something similar -
I need this exactly!
Did it have CDI connectors?
-
Sorry, just seen this. They have multi block connectors from single up to ten. Standard and waterproof. They come with male and female and crimp on. Top shelf stuff imho

Just google bikerstoolbox.co.uk then click on wiring supplies. I don’t know what CDI you have or how many wires, but these guys are the way I’m gonna go to make a new loom. You can buy any coloured wire by the Metre. Seriously, check them out...

Closed now but the best supplier for bike connectors especially those for Yamaha
-
Closed cause the flu? Or for good? I’m guessing that a lot of small businesses aren’t going to be able to reopen after this all blows over
shame...
-
Covid closure it says on their front page

There’s hope then!...
Even if the connectors have a different layout, it’s still the same amount of wires. You get the male and female so you just replace the block on the loom and the CDI unit one as well. So you end up with as good or better of a connection...
If you really can’t do without original you can always unclip the block with a precision screwdriver, clean the block and wet’n’dry the spades. Females are not so easy. Vinegar and salt soak, then wire brush (spark plug type).
That’s if it just a messy/bad condition... -
If there the right amount of correct coloured wires, then I’d just pop them out of the block and plug the loose wires in. I’m guessing that Yamaha uses the same internal mini spade connectors?
It’s really easy to do once you get the knack. Just press to the side with a precision screwdriver. Practice on an old one...
I wish I could post pics from my phone️
