Hey everyone, I’ve got a question about my Yamaha DT175.

It’s a 2-stroke bike and I’ve been filling the tank with regular petrol only for the last ~100 km. I haven’t been mixing in any 2-stroke oil — just straight petrol.

Do I actually need to be mixing 2-stroke petrol with oil for this bike, or is it okay to run it on regular petrol like I’ve been doing?

if it has the autolub you can use normal but if it doesnt have you need to do the premix with the oil otherwise you will blow up your engine

Yes your DT will be autolube. If it wasn't... you'd have known by now.

You'll need to keep an on eye on the two stroke level and refill it as it gets depleted.
