@stobbsie You would most likely be looking at getting your money back at best. So I would advertise it for a bit more and see what offers you receive. Personally if you resprayed the panels black and tidied up the bike a bit, you would probably get more for it. As black & orange is more appealing than white & orange IMHO. But it's the age old conundrum of spend a bit to get more, or just sell it as is???

i was just testing the water as they say,i may keep it respray the plastics as i have a spare mint condition black frame i also have a spare engine and a few fairings laying around .
I was thinking maybe put my money into 1 bike rather than 2 but the white and orange runs amazing and has zero rust apart from on the discs and a few bolts, never re sprayed farings before but these would need sanding or something before spraying but i have seen videos on youtube where ppl have been using a aerosol paint stripper where after applying they just wash off with water hose and plastics look ok -

New panels aren't that expensive, you'd amazed at what a fresh set will do to the look of the bike.
Just because it's orange and black, it shouldn't put you off sorting it out.

Im located in south yorkshire declan, as for the plastics where they havent sprayed underneath ,they look pretty good you can see they were all black before.
Been looking on the internet for plastics but all i can find is used ones or the odd panel new ,I did come across a guy in portugal that sells full sets for £130. -

@stobbsie yeah but that's a lot of money well atleast to me it is the route I took is to get some Yamaha blue spray paint but my shop was out so I got pearl blue which is a little darker but had metal flakes in

@declan have you ever had to remove spray paint?,if so what would you say would be best a paint stripper or sanding?
@stobbsie well if you planning on re using the plastics without re painting sand paper is a no go but if you want the paint off to re paint sand paper all the way then use light sand paper to rough the surface up then run a cloth of running alcohol or paint thinner as I use just to clean it
