Appreciate the response I've only chose the dt125r as silly as it sounds I almost lost my life in a crash on 1at the age of 17 came close to amputation to my right leg just below the knee i also shattered my shoulder socket broke collar bone and a internal bleed, I had always planned to do a nut and bolt rebuild on 1 after that but not found the time til now altho whilst looking I found they were all going up in price and to be fair even a bad 1 was around the £1000 mark so I spent the extra on what I consider a half decent 1 I plan to use when the summer comes as little as we may get and then strip it to rebuild through the winter, I had no plans to mod it at this point however on riding it you can feel how restricted it really is but that really is where the interest of the dt125r comes into it. Off road I ride a 06 crf450 that I've converted to run a 2001 cr500 engine I built the bike from scratch last year so basically from 1 extreme to the next and 2 totally different bikes

Finally got round to fitting the fmf
Forget the dep the fmf has given me more bottom end and mid range without effecting the top end feels slightly heavier than the dep but I don't think this pipe will rust out like the dep -

Seeing as it's a nice day I thought I'd put it back together at least until the 200 engine is back anyway -
my wr200r before i strip it of its running gear ready to rebuild for my dt@Darty yes mate in Bude it's tatty really tatty it's not had mot for a few yrs now but it's fast I'll give it that, it will power wheelie 1st 2nd and 3rd on the power valve, it's got a puncture but gonna put a tube in it and take it for a blast see if it will wheelie in forth . The bloke has a j reg 1 there he's gonna drag out its tidier than this 1 but apparently it struggles to select gear when it's warm I'm probably gonna buy that as a spare

Do I or don't I? 😂It is registered but currently no mot I did have a daylight mot but you find its constantly on the back wheel I think it's a bit too easy to lose your licence too but it's definitely fun to ride on or off road, I have both sets of rims and a adapter plate to space the front brake as the sm front brake discs are bigger and change and the rear calliper mount is different but I've always kept all parts needed guess it's a matter of weighing up the pros and cons
