I'm new here....

Looking to buy a dt 125 for the new year.
Can anyone recommend which year is best and also what the differences are between the different models ie X, R and RE - which is easiest to derestrict and which will be quicker?

If anyone has one for sale too please hit me up!

Finally sorted. Couldn't believe the amount of crap that came out of the tank when I washed it out, the dirty b****.

Have either of you got an opinion on the corrosion protection stuff you can buy and if it does a good job?

I've also replaced all of the hoses and stuck an inline filter on

I've cleaned it all out and put an inline filter in so hopefully I won't have any issues again. Cheers

I was out on my dt r the other day and the rev needle started to float around a bit when up in the power band, which was quickly followed by a crunching sound and a sudden lack of power.

It turns out the pickup coil came loose and became damaged by the flywheel which I presume is the sole culprit. Only issue now is that there's a loud clicking noise which appears to be coming from the flywheel/stator. Is this normal? It doesn't sound like it should be... I need to get the proper tools for taking the flywheel off so can't look into it at the mo.
