@JJfitz28 When you find some suitable originals, would you be open to selling the supermoto wheels?

what are the wheel sizes for a 2001 DT125R -
Power lossI'll have a search about.
The thing is the power to rev ratio wasn't an issue - the engine just wouldn't physically rev above around 5000 even with the throttle held open, as if it was in limp mode.
-
Power lossThink I'll have more luck with the lottery than I'm having with my 01 DT R atm .
Got a severe loss of power for some reason. Engine was reving fine in neutral and can just about get into the upper power band in first, but anything onwards it can't get past 5000 and idles at around 20mph. This all happened on my way home so haven't ran it since.
I've taken the top end off the engine and the piston, rings and cylinder all look fine - no signs of wear. There's no play in the rod either so the bearings are good.
Since buying it I've had a fair few seals go on it after running it in again - does this sound like it could be the left hand crank seal? I know the bottom end pressure is important with 2 strokes so could a leaking seal be preventing enough fuel getting pushed through into the cylinder when increasing the revs?
I'm guessing it can rev okay in neutral as it doesn't have the load of the gearbox and drive train applied which could play around with the pressure too?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Flywheel clicking@Calum cheers... I know there are plenty of full sets including the stator generator but I was looking for just a new pick-up part due to the metal face being warn down by the tab on the flywheel when it came loose.
Once I can get the flywheel off I'll see how the current one fends - I might be able to manipulate it to still get the correct spacing for it to work. This is what I was looking at

Flywheel clickingYeah that makes sense, there's half a bolt I couldn't put my finger on so that's most likely where it went.
I've looked all over to try find a new OEM pick-up but no look, I'm going to have to get one that just fits the dimensions but need to make sure the ohms value is right... Does anyone know how to check what it should be? Struggling to find anything online

Flywheel clicking -
Flywheel clickingI was out on my dt r the other day and the rev needle started to float around a bit when up in the power band, which was quickly followed by a crunching sound and a sudden lack of power.
It turns out the pickup coil came loose and became damaged by the flywheel which I presume is the sole culprit. Only issue now is that there's a loud clicking noise which appears to be coming from the flywheel/stator. Is this normal? It doesn't sound like it should be... I need to get the proper tools for taking the flywheel off so can't look into it at the mo.

Leak near front axle?@NINJA that's what I was looking at. What weight would you go for with the standard forks? I've been told I might be best off mixing 10 and 15 50/50 to get the best result.
-
Leak near front axle?Should be a doddle.
What's the best brand of fork oil to go for? -
Crap in the carbFinally sorted. Couldn't believe the amount of crap that came out of the tank when I washed it out, the dirty b****.
Have either of you got an opinion on the corrosion protection stuff you can buy and if it does a good job?
I've also replaced all of the hoses and stuck an inline filter on

Leak near front axle?@NINJA Had a gander earlier and that's exactly it. Not surprised really with it having been stood for so long.
-
Leak near front axle?I've had my new 01 DT R sat in my garage for a couple of weeks now and I've noticed a wet patch on the floor near the front axle at the left hand side. It's definitely not from the calliper, is there anything in that vicinity that could leak?
-
Crap in the carb@Calum It's a 2001. What do they do?
I've cleaned it all out and put an inline filter in so hopefully I won't have any issues again. Cheers -
Crap in the carbSo I've had yet another issue with my newly purchased DT R . Was on my way to work and suddenly the engine began to struggle and would cut out. This would continue to happen unless I let it sit for a bit, but would reoccur after traveling a similar distance. Took the carb off this evening and both jets had a lot of shit in so I gave it a good clean. I'm hoping this will solve the issue. I gave the air box a clean out, the filter looks fine but the foam on the filter holder that slots into the air box has quite a lot of black on it and bits have come off it. Can I just glue some replacement filter foam on in the correct shape? Also I've had a look at an oem assembly diagram and it appears that there should be structure that sits between the holder and the filter, however mine doesn't have one. Could this also be an issue?
TIA

Lights not workingI'm having an issue with the headlight, tail light and dash light on my 01 DT.
Everything was working fine yesterday whilst out riding then suddenly all of the three stopped working at the same time. The indicators and brake light works fine. Any idea what could be the issue?

Looking for a new bike@NINJA Cheers for these links, currently in talks with the fella selling the bike in the 2nd link with the decals on. What do you reckon it's roughly worth just from looking at the pics?
