as far as i m aware there are 3 different types of tzr
the first model
series 2 (RR)
an tzr125r sp
i have an exhaust with the code 4DL E46 10 20
what model is it intended for

Can we see a photo are you running stock exhaust has it been changed in any way
Is the early model tzr exhaust shorter than the others.
I ve seen a giannelli on ebay for early models
Not sure if it's my eyes but it looks slightly different
I work with an old boy an he says he had a wrangler dt when he was young
Not sure if it was dtr or dt which I had asked more questions
I ve got a tzr pipe but the belly of the pipe ( the fat expansion bit) seems to be way too long
This pipe is a tzr belgrada the neck of the pipe bolts to the centre section so in theory it could be rotated but it's the length that's the problem.
I remember a long time ago on the old forum someone said they used to use the dt lc exhaust with the flange welded on the dtr I ve looked but can't find it
Think it might of scrim mustang that mentioned it
Has any one tried to use other exhausts reason I ask my dtr engine is an chopper frame an I m struggling with the exhaust position
If you hpi check it using the frame number it will tell you the reg. That's assuming it finds it
Yes that is the exact pipe
Is it any different compared to the standard pipes
just got this it looks unusual the swan neck part from the head actully bolts to the expansion chamber
it has what looks like a ships porthole with bolts around it same on the other where the tail pipe fits
The connectors had to be chopped off most of it has been moved / altered
Battery is under seat as is regulator flasher relay an cdi
Ignition is mounted under the seat coming out of the side of the frame so there's not much original wiring left
All the wiring is hidden it goes from the rear light behind the mudguard under the seat along a tube on the frame an splits off left an right and goes into the headlight or through the bars to switchgear etc
I actually bought some terminal keys to depin the connectors
I noticed today the reason I ve got in a muddle with it is because the damaged loom I ve unravelled an mapped out on a board this loom is different to the one fitted to.the bike
So here's where I m up to
Blue from ignition is used to illuminate clocks is no longer needed
2 pin plug from cdi dark blue wire an light blue / white
This blue / white is neutral.light
I need to investigate were the other blue goes an also find the wires for oil sender
My loom is 1989 it's slightly different to rn don't quote me but I think the rn looms are around 1995 their identical to the 1989 but have a bunch extra wires for the square neutral relay
That's why I m getting confused because the wires tie into each other for example side stand switch from cdi is blue/ yellow but on the diagram your looking at it links up to the blue wire
Thanks for that
The writing has worn off my cdi I think it's 3nc
I ll have a look at the loom over the week end
Oil warning light is black / red
An the wire other side of bulb is brown if I remember correct
I don't think the light is for oil but when it meets the 2 pin plug going into.cdi the other wire coming off that plug is dark blue that I.mentioned earlier an that's. For neutral light
I don't understand what the light blue wire does although it goes to cdi an stator before going to.oil.sender
I m at work now will try to ad pics later
The light blue wire I mentioned look at the oil sender plug it has 3 wires one of then is the light blue if you follow it plugs into the cdi an branches of an goes to the stator / generator
@Calum
If I make an album on face book an right click copy image location can I post the image on here
Pin the valve then if it still does it you know its not the servo
The black an white wire ( kill switch to cdi ignition ) can cause it to.spark every other kick.but yours is getting to 5000 rpm so I doubt it's that
One thing to remember half the wires in these looms the copper has turned black even though they look OK on the outside
I ll do my best to describe it
Plug from generator has white. black.red/yellow.an PALE BLUE imagine an upside-down Y generator is at the top an cdi is at left on the right the same wire goes to.oil sender ( can I cut this bit out ? )
This plugs into a two pin plug at the cdi the other wire in the plug is dark blue this goes to.neutral.light ? It's the same colour blue as the clock illumination.wire but this is different wire
It's in a yamaha dragster so it's a two stroke chopper
The clock illumination is a blue wire it's kind of a bright blue
The other blue from cdi is a pale blue( similar to search bar below )
But there is another blue on that plug same colour as clock ilu wire
I have 3 looms one is fitt4d to the bike
One was a slightly later loom.that was damaged so I ve unravelled it for reference
An I have another uncut loom
The loom on the bike is completely butchered an things have been moved around regulator an flasher relay now live under the seat
How do I post photos on here
Because the engine is a different bike
I had to cut to the loom to route it through the frame an it's a tight fit
I m using a digital speedo
So the blue wire from ignition is now redundant an it has a big bulky connector on it
Thats assuming it won't effect anything else if its not connected ?
I ll put a pic later of the 2 pin plug with light an dark blue
I want to use the neutral light but I don't need oil light as running ore mix
On the 1989 loom there is a blue wire that goes from ignition to a shared connector that goes to switchgear an clock bulbs
I think the only purpose of this to illumination the clocks when the lights are on ?
Will it do any harm if its disconnected
Other thing I m stuck on is 2 pin plug from cdi goes to stator
Pale blue an dark blue wires
Pale blue goes to stator but splits in two an seems to go to oil sender ?
I m running premix can I cut the Pale blue wire out ?
The other wire in the same plug is dark blue I think this goes to neutral light ?
But as said above it seems strange as the wire next to is oil sender
