It is the standard cdi and the bike had a full rebuild and hasn't been running for a long time so when am ready to run the bike it should work. cheers for your info.

Hi there am doing a restoration on a dt125x and am going threw the electrics and every thing is working ok part from the main head light, the bulb is ok was just wondering if the engine needs to be running for this to be working with it being a electric start, any help would be great before I start losing the plot...

I would suck his dick to see this bike finnished ..LOL.Am still drawn to trying out 1 of thoes PWK 28M. 25 quid what can go wrong... am at the point just want the bike done ive done a few restorations but this 1 is taken the piss... I mean everything i do either brakes. snaps. sheers or needs replace it sat old side for 2-year need I say more.

Scootjockey you can let me no how you get on with your carb.

It's funny you should do this.. I have done the exactly the same to the word, to my carb, doing a restoration at the moment don't know what road to go down put it to the side for now even thinking about 1 of those Chinese ones, whatever i do will need to be a cheap option, the bike starting to cost a fortune. what did you do about your carb dilemma?

No, its not a genuine one nothing on the seal saying, so should i have the spring side facing in.

Hi does anyone know the way the right-hand crankcase seal goes on a dt 125x,
is it with the spring to the inside of the crank or the outside.

Hi everybody as you can see, I've got a long way to go with this rebuild and will probably need some help along the way i have got a few parts I need to get...can anybody tell me if there's a crank case gasket to join both halfs together when you look at the full gasket kits there doesn't seem to be one plus there doesn't seem to be a yamaha part number, it's a dt 125x any help would be appreciated.
