Clutch slip ?

Oil is the last thing you want on clutch plates, else they slip. The DT just so happens to mix the gearbox oil into the clutch housing. That's fine so long as everything is torqued to spec. But as a general rule of thumb, no oil is not what you want on clutch plates.
Also add, you don't really want to be giving a slipping clutch revs, since this will just cause it to wear out.

@jens-eskildsen Lol, I sort of implied that in my first post. Kinda thought he might have got that. But yes, the point I was trying to make, low oil won't make it slip, as more powerful engines use dry clutches.
