Replace chain roller?
-
The heavily worn roller is the one on the underside of the chain, and the other is the one sitting higher up.
First off, could someone tell me what "the other" does? Is it for when the suspension is compressed to max after a high jump? It looks brand new!
Secondly, is it worth just changing the worn one with "the other"?
Or should I order a new set? -

@irongamer727 No, the OEM ones are flat.
But I dunno, seems a lot for some chain rollers if you ask me.

Good news! Found flat chain rollers in a local shop nearby. Will get them for sure. So much nicer than having to wait until April 20th if I ordered from eBay.

@irongamer727 the chain wears the roller to fit the chain perfectly

What do you think about making a chain roller from wood? Stupid idea?
-
@irongamer727 yeah that’s pretty stupid dude why would you want to do that they’re only a few pounds and the wood would rot chip splinter and just not function properly I really don’t see an upside to using wood unless you do?
-
@irongamer727 it really isn’t bud or atleast I don’t think so do you know the size of your roller the bearing size IE 12mm?
